ABMHF AGM 14th November 2024 online – please email us for the link
We very much need and welcome new trustees / directors. Currently (Nov 2024) we have only 3 active committee members as our wonderful Secretary stepped down at the recent AGM, and another member has just had her second child so is on maternity leave for the time being. We are seeking new volunteer directors to help us shape the future of our organization and keep up with the day to day running of the Forum.
Are you passionate about preserving our heritage?
The Argyll & Bute Museums & Heritage Forum (ABMHF) is a Scottish charity (SCIO-SC050209) dedicated to supporting people, places, and organizations involved in heritage across the Argyll and Bute area.
We started out to help small, independent museums achieve accreditation, but over time, our focus has expanded to support the entire heritage sector. This includes volunteers, community groups, businesses, and everyone interested in our region’s history.
From ancient times to the present day, we’re here to celebrate the people, places, islands, and everything that makes our heritage unique.
We are seeking new volunteer directors to help us shape the future of our organization. Your skills and enthusiasm would be invaluable as we continue to support and promote the rich heritage of Argyll & Bute.
Why join us?
- Make a difference: Help us develop exciting new projects and initiatives.
- Gain valuable experience: Develop your leadership and governance skills.
- Meet like-minded people: Connect with other heritage enthusiasts.
- Flexible commitment: Our meetings are primarily online, so location is not a barrier.
We are currently seeking:
- Volunteer Directors: To help guide the Forum’s strategic direction.
- Secretary: To support the Board’s administrative functions.
