Lorn Archaeological and Historical Society

The Society was formed in February 1963 to encourage interest in Archaeology and History locally.  We meet monthly during the winter for talks given by visiting speakers on a wide variety of fascinating topics. During the summer we aim to have several outings to local historical sites and archaeological digs. We aim to liaise with other local groups and we produce an annual journal with articles based on talks during the year.
